Leclerc's anger: "What a shitty ride, awful. You deserve better." Vasseur: "Charles made a mistake."

Ferrari failed to improve beyond sixth place with Leclerc and seventh with Hamilton in qualifying in the Netherlands. The Zandvoort circuit isn't well suited to the characteristics of the SF-25, which was also beaten by Hadjar in the Racing Bulls. The Ferrari drivers were deeply disappointed at the end of the session, with the Monegasque driver emphasizing his mistakes: "This track certainly highlights our weaknesses, but I was terrible and I can't accept that. I tried to find solutions but couldn't. In Q3 I didn't have a good lap, it was really bad. We could have finished fourth, but I wasn't good enough. If we do everything perfectly and the others don't, maybe we can aim for the podium. But in Holland, besides the McLarens, Red Bull also seems to be strong. It will be difficult to make a difference." Leclerc's team radio was eloquent at the end of qualifying: "What a truly crappy lap...! Oh my God, what a disappointment. I'm sorry, you deserve better. I was really terrible."
Hamilton was beaten once again by the Monegasque, but compared to recent weekends, he was closer to his teammate. "After careful consideration, I improved my approach and changed a few things in my preparation," explained the seven-time world champion. "It's not the ideal track for our car, but we still achieved a solid result. I hope to be able to put pressure on those ahead in the race. At the start, we were 1.6 seconds behind, but we've gotten closer, even though the gap is still too large. I hope the weather will be mixed tomorrow and I can bring home as many points as possible."
Ferrari team principal Frederic Vasseur also analyzed the qualifying result: "I think Leclerc made a mistake at Turn 10, which probably cost him a spot on the second row. We recovered well, but yesterday we started too far back. This means we need to do a better job on Friday. Making a one-second step forward is too much; in the end, it's easy to make a mistake. Hamilton started pushing hard, and we were impressed. That was a positive sign, but even with him, we started too far back. I think it was a set-up issue. Now we're focusing on the race."
